Kim Soo Hyun will officially enlist in the South Korean army on October 23. His company, Key East, has released a statement following his enlistment.

“Our agency’s actor, Kim Soo Hyun has enlisted into his military service and will be going to serve on Monday,October 23, 2017.

As a citizen of South Korea, Kim Soo Hyun believes in serving his country importantly.

Due to this, he has decided to enlist quietly without the presence of reporters or fans.

He will be going into the new recruit boot camp and receive 5-week training there before being sent to his official army post for the next 21 months.

Please support him and wish him the best as he serves his duties.
