Every K-Pop Idol Wants To Work With Baekhyun, Here?s 5 Reasons Why

koreaboo -

Baekhyun is known for his ability to generate an all-kill streak, making many refer to him as the “King of Collaborations.”

1. His All-Kill Generating Ability

Baekhyun released his collaboration track titled “Rain” together with SISTAR’s Soyou. The song immediately topped the charts and was considered a “perfect all-kill” following its release.

Baekhyun was the first artist from SM Entertainment to achieve such status with his collaborations including “Dream” with Suzy last year. “Dream” in particular was named the “Best Collaboration” at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards and also won awards at the Melon Music Awards and Golden Disc Awards.

2. His Genuine Variety Show Talent

Most recently, Bakehyun was praised for his talent on Master Key.

“While picking out the players, I thought EXO’s Baekhyun had a knack for variety programs.

I liked his go-to attitude and very comfortable, approachable style. When I saw him first-hand, I could see he was very dedicated.

Due to his open personality, he is highly compatible with any other celebrity who guests on the show.

From my point of view, as someone who’s making a show, I can’t be anything else but thankful.

I am really thankful of EXO’s Baekhyun work ethic and want to continue working with him.”

3. His Unique Voice

It was revealed that Baekhyun’s success in these collaborations was because of his voice. He has a unique voice that can project a variety of emotions and can harmonize with any singer he collaborates with. When he does have to change emotions within songs, however, the slight variation allows his female counterpart to naturally shine.

4. His Versatility and “Say yes” AttitudeBaekhyun is known for his ability to take part in any genre. This can be proven through his works with EXO and its sub-unit, EXO CBX. He has also done other collaborative works such as “The Day” together with K.Will for SM STATION as well as singing in a production of Singin’ in the Rain.

5. His Intense Stage Presence

One of the reasons Baekhyun is a top idol is his ability to work a stage and work the camera. Working with Baekhyun means a lesson in what it means to perform on stage and on camera, which are totally different experiences he masters.
